The fruit wholesale market was opened in May 2003. Fruit dealers from all over the country come to here to have daily fruits trade for over 100 hundred varieties of fruits from every part of China and all over world.
Here there are domestic fruit varieties of apple, pear, peach, grape, hamimelon, pomegranate, mango, watermelon, coconut, navel orange, citrus, loquat, ponkan and lychee from South and North original areas which are in Shanxi, Shandong, Tianjing, Beijing, Hebei, Guangxi, Hunan, Yunnan, Hainan, Fujian and Xinjiang, etc., and also the native Chaozhou citrus, banana, oiive, ringo, pineapple, red bay, peach and plum. At the same time, imported fruits of apple, cherry, grape, orange, lemon, durian, wax apple, mangosteen, rambutan, pitaya, banana, solanum muricatum and papaya etc. from U.S.A. Canada, Australia, New Zealan, Chile, South Africa, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan are traded here. The supply is rich and has everything that one expects to find.
